Fuu Kimono Commission

A lady wanted me to make a Fuu Kimono and this is the result.

This ended up going through three separate iterations before I got it right. The flowers are appliqued onto the garment and I had to experiment something fierce to find the right sticky to keep them on there, that was designed for cotton, and would hold long enough for me to do the applique.

The good news is that now that it's done, it looks great though.

Materials:
- Cotton/poly Broadcloth
- Satin Ribbon
Details:
- Rolled seams so that there is no fraying
- Hidden seam on the collar so that you can't see all the stitches.
- Small amount of pleating will fit multiple wearers
- Applique flowers so that they will stay on
- Cotton/poly fabric will take a beating and retain shape
