Dickens on the Strand ( www.dickensonthestrand.com ) happens every year, and after having a wonderful time last year, friends are now making a tradition of going as Pirates. This is the full coat and shirt for one of the outfits that they wore. The crew went one year and just couldn't get enough of it. There is something decadent about running around on a three mast ship, dressed in Victorian/Piratical gear that ignites the imagination like nothing else will.
A long coat with some serious fullness to it makes the whole a rather classy outfit - which is unusual for pirates.
