Season III - Earth

Concept drawing based on the four seasons as the four elements of ancient mythology.

 Spring is the time when the earth comes to life.  Flowers bloom and leaves sprout, and everything is full of life.  Spring is a time of change.

Garment has a top of flesh colored chiffon or nylon and a 3/4 circle skirt of a dual layer of chiffon or a  light silk.  Strategic applique, as well as 'normal' placement create something that is as lively as the season that inspires it.  The applique disguises where the skirt is joined to the top half of the garment, and a zipper makes it easy to get in and out of it.

The lightness of the lower layers of chiffon or silk is countered by the weight of the appliques (also silk),  and the 3/4 circle allows for freedom of movement when walking.  Additionally, a side slit to just above the knee allows for more freedom of movement, as well as a sexy flash of leg.  The appliques themselves are sealed with rayon embroidery thread, to give a shine and luster to the pieces. 

The garment is finished with a matching silk flower for the hair.
