Deluxe Fairy Costume In White

Sometimes you just have to go all out when you are going to the Masquerade.

The original idea was to have something that you could wear to Jareth's Masquerade (see the movie Labyrinth for details) It had to be flashy enough that everyone would notice, and, of course, had to be flexible enough so that one size fits everyone. It had to cover enough that no one was embarrassed, but be flexible in the neckline so that it was pretty.

And it had to be very, very pretty.

The Deluxe Fairy Costume is available in any color combination that can be imagined. While white on white is impressive, it has been made in red/red, purple/silver, black/black, and an amazing green/maroon combination. Top color is always of lace, over the underlay of cotton or satin. Plenty of Venise or Galloon lace on all the edges gives it different visual textures, and a variety of trims and ties add to the fluttery effect.

Wings are 14 gauge steel for the boning, so they are tough enough to stand up to all abuses, yet flexible enough to reshape to your heart’s content. Costume constists of :

- One Underskirt, edged in lace

- One lace overskirt

- Two arm Pieces

- One set of wings with the belt for the whole thing
